The genome sequence spans 803.70 megabases. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 32 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the Z and W sex chromosomes. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 15.57 kilobases in length. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl identified 13,493 protein-coding genes.enopenAccesshttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/deed.enThe genome sequence of the Dark Crimson Underwing moth, Catocala sponsa Linnaeus, 1767Journal Article2398-502XWellcome Open Research2025-01-319412-412Catocala sponsaDark Crimson Underwinggenome sequencechromosomalLepidoptera
